  • What is the difference between a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and a therapist?
A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is an advanced practice nurse with specialized training in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, including prescribing medications. In contrast, a therapist (or counselor) offers talk therapy and emotional support to assist individuals in addressing their mental health concerns.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office during business hours or by using our online appointment scheduling system on our website.
  • Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes, we offer telehealth appointments for the convenience of our patients. These virtual sessions allow you to receive care from the comfort of your own home.
  • What ages do you treat?
We provide services for individuals ages 6 and older, depending on the provider. Our experienced providers can offer age-appropriate treatment options for various age groups.
  • Do you accept insurance?
We accept Sanford Health Plan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum- including United Healthcare, Health Partners, and MT & ND Medicaid.
  • How can I request a medication refill?
To request a medication refill, it’s advisable to get in touch with your designated pharmacy approximately 5-7 days before your current medication supply runs out. The pharmacy will help you initiate the refill process by electronically communicating with your healthcare provider. Should you have any inquiries or uncertainties regarding your medication or prescription, please don’t hesitate to contact your healthcare provider via the patient portal for additional assistance and guidance.
